Last update: August 8, 2017.

GSAM provides an opportunity to present your research work and exchange idea on severe plastic deformation (SPD) and related materials.
The topic included in the workshop is not only from structural properties but also from functional properties of the SPD-processed materials.
The symposium/workshop includes the following subjects:
high strength and/or high ductility, superplasticity, hydrogen diffusion, hydrogen storage, electrical conductivity, superconductivity, bicompatibility including the subjects related to thermoelectric properties, magnetic properties and semiconductors.

GSAM is held as an activity of the International Research Center on Giant Straining for Advanced Materials (IRC-GSAM) at Kyushu University.
